In 2005, the Dunn County Fair Association envisioned a space dedicated to serving Dunn County and its surrounding communities. What began as an idea has since grown into the High Plains Community Center, a cornerstone for events, programs, and opportunities that bring people together.
The continued growth of the center is the direct result of the hard work and perseverance of both past and present Board of Directors. The organization became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, enabling the expansion of services – including charitable gaming – so that the Dunn County Fair Association could better fulfill its mission of serving the community.
Today, DCFA & HPCC proudly hosts the annual Dunn County Fair as well as additional wide range of events: fundraisers, auctions, concerts, sports, safety meetings, vendor shows, weddings, private gatherings, and many other community events.
As we continue to move forward, we remain committed to growth and innovation, continuing to bring hope, connection, and new opportunities to the people and communities we serve.
At High Plains Community Center, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service for businesses and organizations both in Dunn County and beyond. Whether you’re planning a safety meeting, appreciation luncheon, training, banquet, or social event, we go above and beyond to make it seamless.
What sets us apart? We don’t just hand you the keys to the space—we roll up our sleeves and help with the details. From setup to tear-down, tables and linens to the little touches that make an event memorable, our team has your back. That’s why we like to say we’re “Bad A** in the Badlands”—because no one does events quite like we do.
For larger gatherings, we can even build custom weekend packages to keep your event flowing smoothly from start to finish.
Reserving space at the High Plains Community Center is simple and stress-free. Whether you’re planning a wedding, fundraiser, or community meeting, our team is here to help you every step of the way.
Share your event details and preferred dates.
We’ll review your request and secure your space.
